A new chapter is beginning for Las Colinas Federal Credit Union and Texans Credit Union—one grounded in shared values, strong relationships, and a commitment to doing what’s right for our members and communities. Las Colinas Federal Credit Union has officially merged into Texans Credit Union, following our member vote of approval. Now, we’re working hard on fully integrating our technology and operating systems, teams, and cultures to serve our members as one credit union.

While we complete our integration, we will continue to operate separately as Las Colinas FCU and Texans CU. Our integration will be completed on May 4, 2026—the day you will officially become a Texans Credit Union member!

Account Changes

As we merge into one credit union, the majority of current Las Colinas FCU accounts will transition in to a comparable Texans CU account, beginning May 1, 2026. To check whether your account will be changing, simply choose an account type below and reference the table.

As we move closer toward completing the merger, you will be receiving a New Account packet in the mail with more details about your new Texans CU accounts. Please be sure to review this packet for important account information, including rates, fees, and disclosures.

Money Market Accounts

All Las Colinas FCU Money Market accounts will be transitioned into Texans Money Market accounts. Great news – Texans CU Money Market accounts currently offer higher interest rates than Las Colinas Money Market accounts on all tiers, so you’ll earn more on your money as a Texan! IRA Accounts

All Las Colinas FCU IRA accounts will be transitioned into Texans CU IRA accounts. There will be no changes to your account functionality or dividend rate; however, you will no longer be able to make ACH deposits to your IRA account.

Please Note: Texans Credit Union will be mailing new account agreements to IRA accountholders. You must sign and return this packet by April 30, 2026.

Estate & Trust Accounts

All Las Colinas FCU Estate and Trust accounts will be transitioned into Texans CU Estate and Trust accounts, respectively. There will be no changes to your account functionality.

Why is Las Colinas Federal Credit Union merging with Texans Credit Union?

Las Colinas Federal Credit Union (FCU) and Texans Credit Union (CU) complement each other’s strengths. By combining forces, merging into one entity, we can provide even more to members and make a powerful impact in our communities. We’ll also be able to provide greater conveniences with more locations, additional account options and services, and more opportunities for our employees.

Has Las Colinas FCU been bought out?

Not at all! Both Las Colinas FCU and Texans CU collaborated, and our members voted ”yes” to authorize this strategic partnership by merger to become one credit union. We believe we’re stronger together.

What will happen to the Las Colinas FCU employees?

All the team members that have served you faithfully will continue to do so! There will be no job losses or layoffs as a part of this partnership. Las Colinas FCU members will also get to meet new smiling faces from Texans CU as we join forces.

Will the Las Colinas FCU name be changing?

Yes. Las Colinas FCU will continue under Texans Credit Union’s brand to signify our dedication and service to more Texas communities as we grow together.

Will my deposits and accounts continue to be safe?

Absolutely! There will not be a change to your protected funds. Both credit unions are administered by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), and your deposits will continue to be federally insured up to regulatory limits.

What new services will be offered by Texans CU that Las Colinas FCU didn't have?

Texans Credit Union offers new digital services like Zelle, Instant Payments, and a full-service Card Manager to customize debit and credit card alerts, spending limits, and controls. Texans CU also offers a full suite of accounts, loans, and credit cards. Once the combination of institutions is complete, Las Colinas FCU members will have access to all 11 Texans CU branches, as well as expanded member service hours. When will my Las Colinas FCU membership become Texans CU membership?

You will become an official member of Texans CU on May 4, 2026, following our integration.

What do I need to do to prepare for the transition to Texans CU membership?

1. Ensure your contact information is up to date. As we approach the merger weekend, Texans CU will be communicating important information and any changes that may impact you via email, postal mail, and text. Ensuring your email address, mailing address, and phone number are accurate is the best way to make sure you receive all of the information you need.

2. Plan ahead for temporary closures and service disruptions while we complete our systems integration between May 1 and May 3, 2026. Please note that transfers and payments in Online Banking will no longer be available as of 5:00 pm CT on April 28, 2026.

3. Download prior e-Statements and tax documents from your LCFCU Online Banking account by 5:00 pm CT on April 30, 2026.

4. Save your member number and Online Banking username and password. You’ll need them later to set up your Texans Digital Banking account.

Account Related FAQs

Will my member number and account numbers change?

No, your member number and account numbers will stay the same. If there are any special circumstances, you will be contacted directly by Las Colinas FCU team members. Beginning May 4th, you can view all of your member and account numbers in My Texans Hub, located within Texans Digital Banking.

Will my routing number change?

Yes, your routing number will change to Texans CU’s routing number. Texans CU’s routing number is 311987786.

Will my account numbers change?

No. Your account numbers will remain the same. Beginning May 4th, you can view your account numbers in Texans CU Digital Banking by selecting the desired account from your dashboard, then tapping the eye icon next to your truncated account number. To hide your full account number, simply tap the eye icon again.

Will there be changes to my Savings account?

Most Las Colinas savings accounts will be transitioned into a comparable Texans CU savings account. If you have a Las Colinas FCU Basic Savings, Special Savings, or Starting Over Savings account, your account will transition to the Texans CU savings account shown in the chart below. There will be no changes to the Holiday Club Savings or Star Savers Youth Savings accounts.

Will there be changes to my Checking account?

Most Las Colinas checking accounts will be transitioned into a comparable Texans CU checking account. If you have a Las Colinas FCU Regular Checking, Senior Checking, E-Checking, Unconditional Checking, or GEM Club Checking account, your account will transition to the Texans CU savings account shown in the chart below. There will be no changes to Premier Checking or Galaxy Club Checking accounts.

Will there be changes to my Certificate account?

There will be no immediate changes to Las Colinas FCU Certificate of Deposit accounts; however, all Las Colinas FCU Certificate accounts will renew into Texans CU Certificate accounts at the time of account maturity with the exception of the Youth 12 Month CD. After maturity, your account will transition to the Texans CU Certificate account shown in the chart below. There will be no changes to the Youth 12 Month CD.

Will there be changes to my Money Market account?

Yes. All Las Colinas FCU Money Market accounts will be transitioned into Texans Money Market accounts. Great news – Texans CU Money Market accounts currently offer higher interest rates than Las Colinas Money Market accounts on all tiers, so you’ll earn more on your money as a Texan.

Will there be changes to my IRA account?

Yes. All Las Colinas FCU IRA accounts will be transitioned into Texans CU IRA accounts. There will be no changes to your account functionality or dividend rate; however, you will no longer be able to make ACH deposits to your IRA account.

Do I need to take any action on my IRA account?

Yes. Texans Credit Union will be mailing new account agreements to IRA accountholders. You must sign and return this packet by April 30, 2026.

Will there be changes to my Estate or Trust account?

All Las Colinas FCU Estate and Trust accounts will be transitioned into Texans CU Estate and Trust accounts, respectively. There will be no changes to your account functionality.

What will happen to my Business Membership accounts?

Las Colinas FCU Business Memberships will transition into Texans Business Checking and Savings accounts. If your business account is a Las Colinas FCU Non-Profit Account your account will transition into a Texans Non-Profit Checking Account with Texans Business Savings.

Texans CU will be waiving our regular monthly service fees on our Texans Business Checking and Texans Non-Profit Checking accounts, so that you will continue to enjoy these services with no monthly service fees.

If your account is being transitioned into a Texans Business Checking or Texans Non-Profit Checking account, you will receive a new debit card for your new account. You will have a new debit card number, expiration date and CVV code.

Will I need to update my direct deposit information?

No. Direct deposits previously set up using your Las Colinas FCU account and routing number will post as usual to your Texans account. Direct deposits are made available to Texans Credit Union members up to two days early.

Will I need to reestablish my recurring ACH transactions?

If your recurring ACH transaction was set up through a merchant (i.e. electric provider, subscription service, etc.) or through Las Colinas FCU Online Banking you do not need to make any changes. Your recurring payment will continue to process as usual.

If you are currently making your Las Colinas FCU loan payment with an external account using Message Pay, you will need to update your payment method after the merger. Texans CU offers multiple ways to make a loan payment using an external account. Learn about loan payment options at texanscu.org/payments.

Will I have access to my prior account history?

Yes. After the merger, you will have access to your prior account history in Texans Digital Banking; however, you will not have access to your prior e-Statements or tax documents. We encourage you to download and save any e-Statements and tax documents you may need from your Las Colinas FCU Online Banking account by 5:00 pm CT on April 30, 2026.

Will I be able to use my current checks?

Yes, you will be able to use your current checks after the merger. If you would like to order new Texans CU checks, you can do so through Texans CU Digital Banking by selecting Reorder Checks from the Tools dropdown menu, then following the prompts to complete your order. Be sure to log in to Digital Banking online, as this feature is not available in the mobile app.

Debit Card FAQs

Will I receive a new debit card?

Yes, you will receive a new debit card for your new Texans CU checking account. You will have a new debit card number, expiration date and CVV code.

When will I receive my new Texans debit card?

We will mail your new Texans debit card to your address on file on April 13, 2026. To ensure that your debit card arrives, make sure your address and additional contact information is up to date prior to March 31, 2026.

Activation instructions will be provided with your card in the mail. You will need to activate and begin using your new Texans debit card on May 4, 2026.

What do I do if I don’t receive my new Texans debit card?

If you have not received your new Texans debit card by May 4th, please reach out to our Member Connect Call Center at 972.348.2000.

When will my LCFCU debit card stop working?

Your Las Colinas FCU debit card will no longer work as of Monday, May 4, 2026. You will need to activate your new Texans CU debit card and begin using it on May 4th. Keep in mind that you will need to update your debit card information with any merchants (i.e. electric provider, subscription service, etc.) that have your card information on file for payment after activation.

Will my debit card PIN change?

You will need to establish a PIN for your new Texans CU debit card at the time of card activation. You may choose to use your previous PIN or create a new PIN.

Will my debit card daily limit change?

Your new debit card daily limit will be $2,500 in May. Beginning in June, your debit card daily limit will be based on your monthly direct deposit amount (or 90-day average balance) and your number of debit card transactions. The more you use your account, the higher your debit card daily limit!

Will I need to reestablish my recurring debit card payments with the merchants?

Yes. Recurring debit card payments will not transfer automatically to the new card numbers after the merger. You will need to reestablish any recurring debit card payments you have set up with the merchants once you receive and activate your new Texans debit card.

How can I manage my debit card?

Texans makes managing your debit card easy with Card Manager, a powerful digital tool that lets you manage your cards anytime, anywhere in Digital Banking and the Texans CU mobile app. With Card Manager, you can set real-time account alerts, spending limits, and turn your card on and off. You’ll also enjoy access to personalized spending insights, advanced controls, and self-service options to create the card experience that’s right for you. What features and benefits will my debit card have?

Your Texans CU debit card comes equipped with contactless, tap to pay technology and is compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay to make checkout fast, easy, and secure.

Your Texans Visa debit card also gives you access to great benefits, including Cellular Telephone Protection in the case that your cell phone is stolen or damaged, free credit monitoring and dispute management with Dovly Uplift, and Roadside Dispatch.® Learn more about these benefits at texanscu.org/debit-cards.

Can I customize my new Texans debit card?

Yes! Starting Monday, May 4th, you can customize your new Texans debit card with your favorite photo using the Texans Debit Card Design Studio in Digital Banking. All you’ll need to get started is your new Texans debit card number and a Texans Digital Banking account. Learn more about debit card customization at texanscu.org/mydebitcard.

Credit Card FAQs

Will I receive a new credit card?

Yes, you will receive a new credit card for your new Texans CU credit card account. You will have a new credit card number, expiration date and CVV code.

When will I receive my new Texans credit card?

We will mail your new Texans credit card to your address on file on March 30, 2026. To ensure that your credit card arrives, make sure your address and additional contact information is up to date prior to your card being mailed.

Activation instructions will be provided with your card in the mail. You will need to activate and begin using your new Texans credit card on April 13, 2026.

What do I do if I don’t receive my new Texans credit card?

If you have not received your new Texans credit card by April 13th, please reach out to our Member Connect Call Center at 972.348.2000.

When will my LCFCU credit card stop working?

Your Las Colinas FCU credit card will no longer work as of 5pm on April 9, 2026. You will need to activate your new Texans CU credit card and begin using it on April 13th. Keep in mind that you will need to update your credit card information with any merchants (i.e. electric provider, subscription service, etc.) that have your card information on file for payment after activation.

Will my credit card limit or rate change?

No. Your credit card limit and rate will remain the same.

Will my credit card due date change?

Yes. Beginning in May, your Texans CU credit card due date will fall on the 20th of each month.

How do I make my last LCFCU credit card payment?

There will be no change. You will make your last Las Colinas FCU credit card payment using the same method by which you have made your previous credit card payments.

How do I make my new Texans credit card payment?

Before May 4, 2026, you should make your Texans credit card payment by 1) mailing your payment to the PO Box listed on your credit card statement, 2) making your payment at a LCFCU branch, or 3) making a payment over the phone by calling the number on the back of your card.

After May 4, 2026, you will be able to make your Texans credit card payment online through Digital Banking or the Texans CU mobile app or at any Texans CU branch location, in addition to the methods above.

Will I need to reestablish my recurring credit card payments with the merchant?

Yes. Recurring credit card payments set up with your Las Colinas FCU credit card will not transfer automatically to the new card numbers. You will need to reestablish any recurring credit card payments you have set up with the merchants once you receive and activate your new Texans credit card.

How can I manage my credit card?

Prior to the full completion of the merger on May 4, 2026, contact the Texans CU Member Connect team at 972.348.2000 for assistance with your new Texans CU credit card. Our representatives will be able to assist you with account balance, credit limit, and transaction questions, lost or stolen cards, and fraudulent activity.

Beginning May 4th, you’ll have access to Card Manager, a powerful digital tool that lets you manage your cards anytime, anywhere in Digital Banking and the Texans CU mobile app. With Card Manager, you can set real-time account alerts, spending limits, and turn your card on and off. When can I begin visiting Texans branches?

Las Colinas FCU members can visit Texans CU branches beginning May 4, 2026.

When can I begin using Texans ATMs?

Las Colinas FCU members can utilize Texans ATMs for their Texans accounts beginning May 4, 2026.

Will there be any changes to LCFCU branches?

Las Colinas FCU branches will be updated with new branding and technology to mirror Texans CU branches.

What hours are branches open?

Beginning May 4th, the Las Colinas FCU Valley Ranch branch hours will be updated to reflect Texans CU’s branch hours. There will be no changes to the Las Colinas North Dallas or R3 – Lewisville branch hours.

Where can I find surcharge-free ATMs?

In addition to Texans CU ATMs located across the DFW metroplex, Texans members have access to over 80,000 surcharge-free ATMs through the Allpoint and CO-OP partner networks. To find a surcharge-free ATM near you, simply enter your address into the location map at texanscu.org/locations.

Will I be able to use Shared Branches?

Yes. Beginning May 4th you will be able to access your Texans accounts at credit union locations in all 50 states through the CO-OP Shared Branching network. To find a credit union that participates in the Shared Branching network, visit texanscu.org/locations to access the CO-OP Shared Branch locator.

What are the Texans CU Member Connect call center hours?

Texans CU’s Member Connect call center business hours are as listed below. Representatives are available during these hours via phone, text, and online chat.

What can the Texans CU Member Connect call center help me with?

Beginning May 4th, the Member Connect call center will be available to assist with general account support such as balances and transactions, wires and dispute processes, digital banking help, account transfers and payments, and routing you to the right specialist when needed.

Who is Chip?

Chip is Texans’ virtual voice and chat assistant—available by phone and through online chat at texanscu.org. Chip greets callers on our main lines and provides quick answers and assistance or hands-off requests to a human when the request is more complex. Chip is available 24/7, even on holidays, giving you round the clock service. Chip can also transfer you to a live representative during business hours—just say “Agent” or “Representative” to speak with a live team member.

Can Chip help me with my accounts?

Yes! Chip provides 24/7 account assistance, including checking balances and recent transactions, moving money between Texans accounts, checking payment due dates, and more. For your security, Chip will authenticate you before providing any account assistance. To complete authentication, you’ll need to provide your member number, Social Security Number (SSN), and a one-time passcode that will be sent to the mobile phone number on file.

Digital Banking FAQs

When will I start using Texans Digital Banking?

You will begin using Texans Digital Banking and the Texans CU mobile app on May 4, 2026.

What information will I need to login to Texans CU Digital Banking following the merger?

To set up your new Texans CU Digital Banking account, follow the steps below.

1. Log in to Digital Banking at texanscu.org using your Las Colinas FCU Online Banking username and password.
2. Accept the Terms and Conditions.
3. Enter your member number and Social Security Number (SSN).
4. A one-time verification code will be sent to your mobile phone. Enter the verification code when prompted.
5. You will be prompted to create a new password. Once your new password is created, you’re set!

When will my Las Colinas FCU Online Banking stop working?

You will no longer be able to perform transactions such as account transfers and bill payments in Las Colinas FCU Online Banking account as of 5:00 pm CT on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

You will be able to access your account balances, account history, and e-Statements until 5:00 pm CT on Thursday, April 30, after which the system will be unavailable.

What information will I need to save from my Las Colinas FCU Online Banking?

We encourage you to download your e‑Statements, tax documents, and your April 2026 transaction history by 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 30, to ensure you have all of the important information you may need. If you need copies of these items after the deadline, contact Texans CU on or after May 4th and we will assist with copies.

If you download your transaction history using Quicken Web Connect, you will be prompted to enter your new Texans Digital Banking password on your first login after May 4, 2026 to authorize the download.

Will I have access to prior e-Statements and tax documents?

You will have access to your prior e-Statements and tax documents in Las Colinas FCU Online Banking and mobile app through 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2026. After that, contact Texans and we’ll retrieve the documents for you.

Will I be able to view my prior transactions and account history?

In most cases, your automatic payments do not need to be rescheduled and will continue to process as usual.

If you have automatic loan payments set up through Message Pay, you will need to update your payment method on or after May 4, 2026. Texans CU offers multiple ways to make a loan payment using an external account. Learn about loan payment options here.

Will I need to re-enroll in Bill Pay and set up my payments?

No. Your Bill Pay account, settings, and existing payments will be transferred to your new Texans CU Digital Banking account. You will not need to take any action.

Please Note: Payments made through Texans Credit Union Bill Pay are electronically debited from your account 1-2 business days after the payment date due to processing time.

Will my statements be affected by the merger?

Yes. All members will receive their Las Colinas FCU April 2026 statements by mail. We recommend downloading your prior e-Statements and tax documents from your Las Colinas FCU Online Banking account by 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 30th for your records.

Beginning May 4th, if you were previously enrolled in e-Statements, you will need to enroll in Texans CU e-Statements in your Texans CU Digital Banking account to continue to receive e-Statements. If you previously elected to receive paper statements, you will continue to receive Texans CU statements by mail. Please note that Texans CU charges a $2 Paper Statement fee per statement.

How can I find my member number and account numbers in Texans CU Digital Banking?

Will I need to download a new mobile app?

Yes, you will need to download the Texans CU mobile app. The Texans CU mobile app is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Will I have separate logins for different accounts in Digital Banking?

No, you will have one login that gives you access to all your accounts and loans.

Loan FAQs

Will there be any changes to my loans?

Most loans will not experience any changes. For some loans, there may be changes to your loan servicer or payment method. If your loan servicer or payment method will be changing, we will communicate with you directly before the merger.

Will any of my loan rates be changing?

No. Your loan rates will not be changing and your existing loan agreement will remain in effect.

Will my loan payment due date change?

No. Your scheduled due date will remain the same.

How will I make loan payments with Texans CU?

Beginning Monday, May 4th, you can make your auto, home equity, personal loan, and line of credit payments by ACH transfer or with a debit card using one of Texans CU’s convenient payment options: in Digital Banking or the Texans CU mobile app, through the Online Payment Portal, by phone with our virtual assistant, Chip, or in-person at a branch. Please see the table below for fees associated with each payment method.

Is there a fee if I make a late payment?

Any late payment fees will remain the same as outlined in your existing Las Colinas FCU loan agreement. Please refer to your loan agreement for specific details on grace periods and late fee amounts.

Mortgage & Home Equity FAQs

Will there be any changes to my mortgage or home equity?

Most mortgage and home equity loans will not experience any changes. For some loans, there may be changes to your loan servicer or payment method. If your loan servicer or payment method will be changing, we will communicate with you directly before the merger.

Will my mortgage or home equity rate change?

No. Your mortgage and home equity loan rates will not change at the time of the merger and your existing loan agreement will remain in effect. Any future rate adjustments will be communicated with you and follow standard policy.

Will my mortgage or home equity payment due date change?

No. Your scheduled due date will remain the same.

How will I make mortgage payments with Texans CU?

Your mortgage payment method will vary based on your loan servicer. Payments will no longer be accepted in-branch. Please refer to the payment instructions provided in your loan servicer packet for your specific payment details.   

 

How will I make home equity payments with Texans CU?
